The city which is famous for its sizzling hot crisp vadais with freshly brewed filter coffee had eateries since 1930s. Rayar's Mess in Mylapore has been serving up the Madras staple food Idli-Vadai-Sambar since the 1930s, making it one of the oldest eateries in the city.
