Chennai-based consulting company, Pressman Solutions, is conducting a technical seminar on colour management in pressroom on the 9 August 2014 at SIGA Institute of Printing Technology.
The seminar titled "How colour behaves with Men-Machine-Material-Method" is aimed to a wider audience ranging from management of a print organisation to press technician and print buyers alike.
The day-long seminar would cover the basic understanding of colour, how ink works in machines, the effect of raw material utilised and the usage of instruments for quality control by industry experts.
“We see continuous education and skill development program as the need of the hour. We talk about quality but practicing quality is at stake because of a wide gap between what we know and what we do. If this gap is reduced we can consistently produce quality output,” said K Panthala Selvan, proprietor of Pressman solutions and an UGRA certified expert for process standardisation.
He said, “ We believe this (seminar) would help the cause.”
